About the Presenters
Stephen Lawrence, Research Associate at Aberdeen Group
Steve Lawrence’s research revolves around the impact of marketing and advertising technologies on businesses with a focus on the online and mobile environments. Topics include mobile advertising / marketing, mobile commerce, mobile search and search engine marketing. Lawrence has a technology, marketing, public relations and advertising background; having working for some of the most well known advertising, marketing and public relations agencies as well as start-up and multi-billion dollar technology companies in both domestic and international settings. He has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a double concentration in Marketing and International Studies from Bryant University and an M.B.A. with a concentration in Marketing from Boston University.
Craig Macdonald, Vice President of Products & Marketing at Covario
Craig Macdonald, vice president of marketing and product management, is responsible for the strategic direction, development and marketing of the Covario™ portfolio of solutions.
Prior to Covario, Craig was the director of product management for the service and management group within Hewlett Packard’s OpenView division where he oversaw service and asset management, configuration management, and discovery applications used by large enterprises worldwide. Previously, Craig held key positions at Peregrine Systems, Inc., Fair Isaac, HNC Software, World Research Advisory, META Group and Greenwich Associates.
Craig earned an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business, and a BS from the University of Pennsylvania. He also studied at the United States Military Academy at West Point.
