Silicon Space Inc. Launches SEM Business Unit
Date: 08/01/2003
Silicon Space announced today the formation of a distinct business unit focused on the growing market for Search Engine Marketing (SEM).
"88% of the time, Internet users start at a Search Engine to find information important to them," says Silicon Space Principal and SEM practice lead Dema Zlotin. "Pay per click, or PPC, advertising is an excellent way for firms to communicate directly with customers and potential customers asking for specific data."
Silicon Space has been involved in various forms of Internet Marketing and Search Engine Marketing since 1998. Recent projections from PriceWaterhouseCoopers project global online advertising spending to grow - in large part fueled by PPC advertising - from $58B in 2002 to $93B in 2007. "Our niche is what we call ESEMM - Enterprise Search Engine Marketing Management," continued Zlotin. "ESEMM takes the fundamentals of effective PPC advertising and scales them to address the distinct needs of global enterprises who need to manage SEM at significant scale, with thousands of keywords in dozens of campaigns run by scores of business units in multiple languages."
Silicon Space will provide both sophisticated web-based software tools for the automation of ESEMM processes as well as traditional SEM Agency services.
