SEARCHNOMICS (SANTA CLARA) and SAN DIEGO, CA – SEMDirector, the leader in search marketing automation solutions for the Fortune 500, and comScore, a leader in measuring the digital world, announced today a joint marketing initiative to provide a new set of analytic solutions for managing large paid and organic search advertising programs. Under this initiative, SEMDirector, will be able to leverage comScore’s qSearch data stream, used to objectively quantify actual search activity, and deliver comprehensive competitive analysis to the global search advertising market. Specifically, SEMDirector intends to use comScore’s qSearch data to enhance the SEMDirector™: Marketing Action Platform to provide a “share of voice” solution. This solution will allow search advertisers to go beyond traditional measures of competitive presence, which look only at total search traffic, by measuring their share of clicks and impressions on all of the major search engines compared to those of their competitors.

- SEMDirector is well positioned to leverage comScore qSearch data for its Marketing Action Platform solutions – SEMDirector™: Paid Insight, SEMDirector™: Organic Insight and SEMDirector™: Competitive Insight – specifically, to develop and deliver “share of voice” analysis which will allow advertisers to directly measure the share of their clicks being directed toward their sites versus specified competitor sites in a repeatable, usable way.
- SEMDirector also is leveraging the comScore data set with its clients for whom it performs direct paid search management services to improve the targeting of their media spending globally.
