The Account Director role is responsible for developing, launching, optimizing and analyzing large scale campaigns to help Covario F500 clients achieve online marketing goals. The Account Director must be strategic, detail oriented, analytical and experienced in client services.
This role can be based in San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, other locations will be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Have paid search, SEO, Social and other interactive disciplines
Strategic management of existing client relationships, providing thoughtful leadership and understanding of their marketing strategies. This includes conducting in-person meetings, presenting results and making presentations. Build and manage a team of Search Marketing Managers. Manage overall paid search campaign strategy and implementation across a range of search engines. This includes keyword research & development, ad copy creation, tagging and trafficking across a range of search engines. Provide performance data from search engines and web analytics for campaign reports. Monitor campaign results, analyze key metrics, and optimize click-through and conversion rates to effectively meet or exceed client objectives. Develop bid management strategies across search engines, including formulation of campaign optimization plans. Monitor competitive landscape and industry trends, keeping clients apprised and delivering POVs
Minimum Qualifications:
- Digital / interactive agencies experience
Strong SEO experience, as well as knowledge in other domains, such as: SEM, PPC, display, social media, organic tactics, analytics Experience interfacing with Fortune 500 clients Ability to provide strategy counsel; Broad marketing knowledge; ability to tie in interactive strategy to overall corporate strategy Solid track record of successful client engagements/account management, including growing the account through upsell and cross sell opportunities Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint Strong analytical skills with experience analyzing large dataset Must be detailed oriented, have strong presentation and project management skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
