Paid Search (SEM) Managers are responsible for day to day management of smaller client accounts and will work with Senior Managers on larger accounts. Managers will not only be responsible for overseeing the Associate Managers on their accounts, but may also be assigned to assist with training others on Manager job duties and processes. The Manager reports to the next most senior person on the account team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for effectively managing the paid search (SEM) budgets as planned by Director, client or agency
Maintain knowledge of client’s business, competition and latest industry news and trends Provides direction to associates when assigning tasks Develops keyword lists and writes creatives Proficient using third party tracking tools specific to assigned accounts Creates, completes and provides analysis and executive summary for search marketing reports as scheduled
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of paid search marketing (SEM) experience
Client facing experience required Proficient with Excel, Word, Power Point Google certified a plus Knowledge of Kenshoo or SearchCenter bid platforms a plus Strong analytical skills with experience analyzing large datasets to gain insights and drive business decisions Excellent written & verbal communication skills Independent, self reliant, with high standards for quality Team player - Ability to work with multiple cross-functional external and internal groups
