Senior Paid Search (SEM) Managers are responsible for day to day management of a client account. Senior Managers should be able to manage an account of any size, type or complexity. Senior Managers will not only be responsible for overseeing Managers and Associate Managers on their accounts, but may also be assigned to assist with training others. The Senior Manager reports to the Director of the account team.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for effectively managing the paid search (SEM) budgets as planned by Director, client or agency
    Maintain knowledge of client’s business, competition and latest industry news and trends
    Supports new business efforts by assisting others with proposals, research and data collection
    Provides direction to managers when assigning tasks
    Develops keyword lists and writes creatives
    Proficient using third party tracking tools specific to assigned accounts
    Creates, completes and provides analysis and executive summary for search marketing reports as scheduled

 

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of paid search (SEM) marketing experience
    Client facing experience required
    Experience managing a team a plus
    Proficient with Excel, Word, Power Point
    Google certified a plus
    Knowledge of Kenshoo or SearchCenter bid platforms a plus
    Strong analytical skills with experience analyzing large datasets to gain insights and drive business decisions
    Excellent written & verbal communication skills
    Independent, self reliant, with high standards for quality
    Team player - Ability to work with multiple cross-functional external and internal groups
