We are hiring intelligent, aggressive business developers who will be responsible for introducing new products to new markets. The successful candidate will identify, penetrate, consult to, and cultivate F1000 corporate enterprise accounts in the high growth areas of interactive marketing and search. In this quota-carrying role, you will be responsible for executing your sales plan using advanced consultative sales techniques, crafting strategic ROI-based value propositions for each prospect, evangelizing our company and solutions to prospects, customers, and partners, and closing large enterprise-scale deals. The role requires an energetic, driven individual with keen attention to prospect's and client's business needs throughout the sales process. Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and network across enterprises (at the CXO, VP, Manager Interactive or Online Marketing, Manager of Search, Manager of IT, etc.) for new clients and to widen Covario's use within client companies.
  • Utilize consultative methodologies to clearly develop and articulate the unique value proposition of Covario's solutions in relevant business terms.
  • Conduct technical product presentations and help define new client requirements and solutions for technical products and professional services.
  • Manage complex sales cycles with multiple stake-holders, and achieve referenceable customer satisfaction in all transactions.
  • Conduct accurate sales forecasting and achieve sales targets.
  • Attend trade shows and industry conferences and public speaking engagements as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Successful record of closing deals in the media, SEM/SEO, and/or interactive marketing space
  • Experience selling to Fortune 1000 VP, CMO & CFO contacts
  • Proven & verifiable track record of sustained over-quota achievement
  • Exceptional desire to win
  • Capable of providing references from previous managers, peers, and customers
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Ability to travel throughout US

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Success selling enterprise-wide software solutions, agency services, consulting services, or online marketing-related solutions, media, or services
  • Experience with and knowledge of interactive marketing, digital media sales, SEO/SEM, eCommerce, & basic web technologies
  • Previous experience with salesforce.com or other CRM system helpful
  • Previous experience working remotely
