Ad Operations Analyst

The Ad Operations Analyst will be primarily responsible for managing activities related to the search marketing information analysis for Covario customers. Specifically, the Ad Operations Analyst will compile and deliver information and analysis of large on-line marketing data sets in support of Covario customer paid search programs.  The position will work directly with Google, Yahoo, MSN, and other search engines as well as web analytics companies.  The Ad Operations Analyst will be working at the cutting edge of the internet marketing industry and will have great opportunity to learn and grow in the fast-paced on-line advertising industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver periodic reports from multiple search engines and web analytic tools as needed (i.e. Omniture, HBX, etc.) and deliver performance analyses of search campaigns.
  • Responsible for campaign trafficking across search engines and campaign launch QA.
  • Assist with optimizing search campaigns through ad, keyword, and landing page optimizations via A/B and multivariate testing.
  • Work in conjunction with Media Operations and Product teams to develop and implement standard search analytics and reporting.
  • Act as an internal reference and expert for Covario’s search marketing action platform, search concepts, and techniques.
  • Monitor search market trends, benchmarks, and competitive environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS, business degrees preferred
  • Ability to contribute individually and participate in cross-functional teams
  • Analytical & organizational skills with very strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and very strong Excel skills
  • Proactive and self-motivated work style with proven ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities

Preferred Experience (not required):

  • Experience working with Omniture, WebTrends, Urchin, Hitbox
  • Fluency in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and/or German
  • Google AdWords certified
  • Google Analytics certified
