Second Year in a Row Covario’s Growth outpaced other Large Search Agencies
SAN DIEGO, May 2, 2013 – Advertising Age magazine has just issued its annual agency review reporting that Covario, one of the world’s leading independent search marketing agencies, grew by 31 percent in 2012 – faster than any search firm with revenue over $20 million.
Ad Age reported that Covario’s U.S. managed net revenue, exclusive of gross media costs, grew to about $30.5 million last year, making it one of only three privately-held search agencies to rank in the top 10.
This marks Covario’s fifth consecutive year on the Ad Age search agency list. The agency first cracked the list in 2009 at No. 25 based on its 2008 revenues.
The San Diego-based firm’s annual revenues and Ad Age rankings have risen rapidly ever since. In 2011, Covario was the fastest growing search agency compared to all 25 firms ranked by Ad Age – with revenue growth of more than 75 percent.
